Julie Maro, M.A. CCC/SLP is a speech/language pathologist who received
her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire
and her Master's degree from the University of Minnesota.
She has been actively involved in AAC and AT since the mid-1980's.
Julie developed and directed the AAC Program at Cerebral Palsy,
Inc. in Green Bay, WI. After that, she was employed through the
Prentke Romich Company as a Regional AAC Consultant for the state
of Wisconsin. Prior to joining CESA 10, Julie worked for four
years at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire as part of their Enabling
Technology team. Julie has presented on a variety of AAC-AT topics
at numerous state and national conferences.
